The hotel is reverting to its original heritage name, The Prince Consort, and will also be introducing some new ones. Meet the Prince Consort and Friends, including La La Land, think super luxe supper club and entertainment hub; 400 Rabbits Tequila & Taco Cantina; The Garden Bar, complete with state of the art outdoor stadium screen; The Bowie Rooms, perfect for functions, events and late night antics; The Yorke Suites, a music district of offices and recording studios; and of course, Greaser, which is staying open and will remain a boiling pot for young bands and live music.

The Foundry/Live Music... What's Happening?

For 5 years the Foundry was one of Brisbane’s leading live music venues for local and touring artists. For the moment, The Foundry will be taking a break, with ticket holders contacted. Soon, there will be a new multi-purpose location created in the venue, that will rock (and roll). The Hotel’s love affair with music is as strong as ever, with a Resident Band to be announced, and tunes to be heard throughout the hallways, bars and in every corner, created by established and emerging music makers. Will Happy Hour still be available?

Yes, it will. The hotel is remaining true to its roots, and will feature all your pub classics, including Happy Hour, live sports, food specials, draught local and craft beer (89 taps!), an extensive wine list, plus tequila and mezcal bar.

What’s going on with Footy Tipping?

Footy Tipping is still running! You can place your tips at our Gaming Lounge, which is open 7 days from 1am ‘til 5am, or by calling the Hotel on (07) 3252 4136 or sending an email to maddi@elephanthotel.com.au

The Outdoor Area...?

The Garden Bar will be Brisbane’s open-air oasis, a unique space brimming with botanicals, pastels and classic Queensland vibes, and its very own stadium screen.

Can I host my function/event there? Absolutely!

We will have 7 unique spaces throughout the venue, each offering a different experience and offering. We are currently working on our menus, however you can expect to see a great range of fresh and affordable canape options, woodfired pizza packages, and sit-down meals, as well as beverage packages and cocktail options. We are working hard at fitting out the venue with top of the line AV equipment, to enable everything from live music events to the ability to live-stream your entire event. I heard you’re opening a nightclub?

We prefer to call it Willy Wonka for adults, or, La La Land. The ornate staircase to La La Land will be just the beginning of your journey into the extraordinary world where super luxe supper club meets 16th century cabinets of curiosities. La La Land will be home to a bar and booth seating, VIP private rooms available for exclusive bookings, and a crystal chandelier-covered dance floor. Embedded into the stage design, is the ability to livestream any event. Expect to see live music, DJ shows, comedy and cabaret alike.
