OFFAIAH’s story is a phoenix story of sorts, highlighting his drive to take his work seriously once he set his mind to it. Growing up in East London during a time of neglect – OFFAIAH did a little revitalizing in tandem with the growth of his town. ‘Private Show’ was the first release from OFFAIAH’s own label All Fire. Having scored arguably the biggest dance record of 2016 with his debut ‘Trouble’, he followed up in 2017 with ‘Run’ and ‘Run This Town’ in quick succession. ‘Private Show’ took OFFAIAH into new territory and began the rise of OFFAIAH!
Having recovered from a helicopter crash in 2017, OFFAIAH came back stronger than ever, releasing ‘Private Show’ an absolute crowd favourite just one year later. Jump forward to 2018 and OFFAIAH drops ‘Work It Out’, his debut release on Defected Records with the follow-ups being ‘Push Pull’, ‘Somewhere Special’ and ‘Soldier’ which sustained a #1 position on the Beatport House Chart for several Weeks. OFFAIAH was quickly becoming a Defected Records staple, and amassing over 35 million streams, OFFAIAH is proving to be one of the most in-demand talents on the scene with sets at EDC USA, Defected Croatia and venues such as Ushuaia in Ibiza, Printworks and Warehouse Project in the UK along with many others. When asked by “We Rave You” about what he contributes his success to OFFAIAH said “I think being a successful artist in this day and age requires a whole host of different attributes that have to work together – one of the main ones is you have to be willing to put in a lot of time into your craft and in some instances be willing to make sacrifices. Ever since I got into the music industry I’ve invested lots of time, especially in crafting and perfecting my sound in the studio”.
OFFAIAH’s rise has only continued with him recently signing an exclusive deal with Defected Records in 2021 for another 10 releases and if ‘Up All Night’ is anything to go off, we can expect a lot of heat from OFFAIAH in the near future!
